Welcome to BROCK

BROCK provides customized equipment, manufactured parts, purchase parts, and on-site services for hot mix asphalt plants and liquid asphalt terminals. Our company is 100% family owned and operated, which allows our team to have a strong and true focus on quality products, outstanding service, and great relationships. BROCK is pleased to be able to say it has assembled one of the most, if not the most, experienced hot mix asphalt equipment industry teams in the United States, and quite possibly in the world (based on average years per employee). We have shipped orders to customers from coast to coast in the United States. We have also shipped to customers as far away as Asia internationally. BROCK has sold nearly every component of an asphalt plant from the cold feed bins to the truck scale, including hot oil heaters and liquid asphalt storage tanks. We have multiple in-field service crews performing plant maintenance, equipment set-up/tear-down, and plant relocation along with other in-field services. Our History

BROCK was established on July 1, 2020 when Ben Brock acquired JBK Enterprises, Inc. (JBK). JBK was founded by Jack Kibler in 1990 to supply equipment and parts to the hot mix asphalt plant owners. Shortly after the acquisition BROCK announced it was also offering on-site asphalt plant services including equipment dismantling, relocation, and installation services.

BROCK has a core leadership team with nearly 300 years of combined successful experience in the hot mix asphalt equipment industry.

Each BROCK leadership team member has a reputation built on supplying quality products, providing outstanding service, and building great relationships. The team will remain true to those three things at BROCK.

BROCK is well positioned for growth through its commitment to quality products, excellent service, and long-standing customer relationships cultivated by the BROCK leadership team.

January 2019

Ben Brock leaves his President & CEO position at Astec Industries, Inc. (Astec), a company founded by his father, Don Brock, after 26 years of service to the company, of which over a decade were spent successfully leading stand-alone divisions focused on hot mix asphalt equipment manufacturing, sales, and service.

July 2020

BROCK, LLC. is established to acquire 30-year old JBK Enterprises, Inc., a manufacturer of hot mix asphalt equipment in Georgetown, TN; JBK is renamed BROCK. LLC (BROCK).

July 2020

Travis Sneed, Robin Leffew, and Anthony Caldwell join BROCK as partners in BROCK from Astec, bringing the total years of successful experience in hot mix asphalt equipment in BROCK ownership/leadership to 124 years – one of the most, if not the most, experienced active ownership teams in the industry.

November 2020

BROCK has outgrown its facility and begins to consider expansion options.

March 2021

After considering adding on to its facility in Georgetown, the company decides to purchase a new location near the airport in Chattanooga, TN; plans are made to relocate the entire company during the month of April 2021.

May 2021

The move of all BROCK operations is completed; 100% of BROCK operations are live at the new location, which has 108,000 square feet of space under roof on 23 acres.

July 2021

BROCK celebrates its first anniversary with a team that has over 650 years of successful experience in hot mix asphalt equipment and a large backlog approaching year end 2021.

November 2021

BROCK begins two major facility improvement projects - a large state of the art paint booth and new offices for its growing staff of experienced industry members.

March 2022

As a result of sales continuing to grow, BROCK announces the addition of a second shift to help grow capacity.

July 2022

BROCK celebrates its second anniversary with a strong backlog that includes orders that will ship in the spring of 2023.

November 2022

BROCK delivers and installs its first larger scale component project to a quarry for use in the production of aggregates. Previous sales to quarries were smaller parts orders.

March 2023

Blessed with the need for increased capacity, BROCK completes a new manufacturing layout project, establishing dedicated bays and tools for individual product lines.

July 2023

BROCK celebrates its third anniversary with a strong backlog that includes orders that will ship late in the spring of 2024 - much of the backlog is from repeat customers. Over the first three years sales have been made to customers in 35 states and 4 countries.

November 2023

The company adds an additional Regional Sales Manager to provide direct sales coverage in several new states.

March 2024

Continued growth allows the company to add the new position of Director - Internal Operations. The company also displays in the World of Asphalt Trade Show - its second trade show to display in since opening.
